Licensing setup: Tabs tab

The Tabs tab allows users to choose which tabs will display on a license of this type. The settings on this page also determine which tabs will display to the citizen in the Citizen Portal. *Note: If a tab in the image below is not displayed in your account, you may need to contact Client Services to enable that feature.

Choosing the license type tabs

  1. Click on Administration in the navigation menu, then select Licensing Setup.
  2. Click License Types.
  3. Select the license type from the list.
  4. Click the Tabs tab.
  5. Check the box in the Selected column to add the tab to this license type. This will display the specific section as a tab on a license in SmartGov. *Note: If this license type is a Parent license type, you must check the Children option to allow for creation of the children licenses.
  6. Check the box in the Private column to allow users with Citizen Portal accounts to view this section of the license in the Citizen Portal. *Note: The Citizen Portal user must be associated with the license either as a contact or contractor with portal access.
  7. Check the box in the Public column to allow the general public to view this section of the license in the Citizen Portal. *Note: The license must be marked for Publish on Portal on the Main tab of the license.
  8. Check the box in the Apply column to add this tab as a section to the license or renewal application process in the Citizen Portal.
  9. Check the box in the Verification Required column to require verification during the license renewal process that the information in this section is up to date and accurate for the renewal when using the "Search License Renewals" list.
  10. Enter the number in the DisplayOrder column to determine the sequential order in which the tabs display on licenses of this type. You can also click the up arrow icon () to move a particular tab to the top of the list.
  11. Click Save.
