Code enforcement values
The Code Enforcement values will display throughout a code enforcement case on the Citizen Portal.
Setting up code enforcement values
- Click Administration in the navigation menu, then click Portal Setup.
- Select Configuration Values.
- Select Code Enforcement from the drop-down menu at the top of the page.
- Click a Description in the list to view the Edit Configuration Value window.
- Edit the Value as needed.
- Click Save at the bottom of the window.

This configuration value determines the introduction to the Actions section when a citizen is viewing a code enforcement case they have reported. Once a reported concern has been converted to a code enforcement case, the Actions section will display any workflow steps associated with the case in the Review worklist.
This configuration value is typically left blank.

This configuration value determines the introduction on the Contact step when a citizen is reporting a concern.
This configuration value defaults to "If you choose to remain anonymous, we still encourage you to enter contact information in case we have questions. We will take reasonable precautions to prevent your identity, but cannot guarantee complete anonymity."

This configuration value determines what extra information will display inside of the Report a Violation section on the Report a Concern page of the Citizen Portal.

This configuration value determines the main description that will display on the Report a Violation section on the Report a Concern page of the Citizen Portal.

This configuration value determines the introduction to the Contacts section when a citizen is viewing a code enforcement case they have reported. Once a reported concern has been converted to a code enforcement case, the Contacts section will display any contacts associated with the case.
This configuration value is typically left blank.

This configuration value determines the introduction to the Inspections section when a citizen is viewing a code enforcement case they have reported. Once a reported concern has been converted to a code enforcement case, the Inspections section will display any inspections associated with the case.
This configuration value is typically left blank.

This configuration value determines the introduction to the Notes section when a citizen is viewing a code enforcement case they have reported. Once a reported concern has been converted to a code enforcement case, the Notes section will display any notes associated with the case.
This configuration value is typically left blank.

Setting this configuration value to "Yes" allows citizens to report a concern or submit a request for information. If this value is set to "No", the Contact Us tile will not display on the Citizen Portal and citizens will not be able to request information or report a concern.
