Improved permitting user interface in the citizen portal

In response to client feedback, the functionality and user interface of the Permitting module in the Citizen Portal is being updated! These new features will allow your Citizen Portal users to save their permit applications to complete at their convenience. These features will also provide clarity for back office users by allowing them to differentiate between incomplete applications and those that have been submitted for their review. You will be able to use new configuration options to enhance and simplify your operations by streamlining the permit application and review process for jurisdiction staff, while providing a clean and intuitive user interface to your citizens.

These configuration options are currently available to set up (unless otherwise noted), but will not be visible on the portal until later this year, when the new user interface is launched.
