Reporting an infrastructure issue

SmartGov provides the ability for a citizen to log neighborhood complaints like tall grass or barking dogs. Asset Essentials, a maintenance and operations solution from Brightly, allows a citizen to report community infrastructure maintenance issues such as potholes or water leaks. Both options can now be enabled in the SmartGov portal, and the option to report infrastructure issues will redirect the citizen to the Asset Essentials citizen portal. *Note: This feature may not be available depending on the configuration set up by your jurisdiction.

How to report infrastructure issues

  1. Click Go on the Contact Us section from the home page.
  2. Click Report on the Report a Concern section.
  3. Click Go on the Report Infrastructure Issues section. This will bring you to the Asset Essentials Citizen Portal for the jurisdiction.
