Adding Labor to Work Orders
The Work Center app gives you the ability to add labor entries on work orders that are assigned to yourself or to other users.
Adding Labor to Your Assigned Work Orders
- From your My Open Work Orders list, swipe a work order to the right to Start a work timer. This marks the work order as "In Progress" and helps you keep track of your labor hours as you complete the job.
- If the work order is not yet complete but you need to add a labor entry, tap on the "In Progress" work order from the list and then tap Pause.
- Enter an Action Taken description. *Note: You can use voice-to-text to enter information in the Action Taken field.
- Adjust the Time on Task timer if necessary.
- Tap Pause. This will mark the work order as "Paused" and add a labor entry for the current date.
- If the work order is complete, swipe to the right on the "In Progress" work order from the list or you can tap on the work order and tap Complete.
- Enter an Action Taken description. *Note: You can use voice-to-text to enter information in the Action Taken field.
- Adjust the Time on Task timer if necessary.
- Tap Complete at the bottom of this screen to record the labor hours from the timer and mark the work order "Complete".
Adding Labor to Work Orders Assigned to Another User
If you spend time working on a work order that is not assigned to you, you can still document that time through the Work Center app.
- Tap the menu icon () in the top left corner of your screen.
- If you know the work order ID, tap into the Search field at the top of the screen and enter the work order ID. Tap the work order on the screen.
- If you do not know the work order ID, tap a filter that you have created and tap the work order from the list that displays.
- Tap Start to begin the work timer. This marks the work order as "In Progress" and helps you keep track of your labor hours as you complete the job.
- Once you have completed your work on the work order, search for and select the work order to complete your labor entry.
- If the work order is not yet complete but you need to add a labor entry, tap Pause at the bottom of the screen.
- Enter an Action Taken description. *Note: You can use voice-to-text to enter information in the Action Taken field.
- Adjust the Time on Task timer if necessary.
- Tap Pause. This will mark the work order as "Paused" and add a labor entry for the current date.
- If the work order is complete, tap Complete at the bottom of the screen.

- Tap Complete at the bottom of this screen to record the labor hours from the timer and mark the work order "Complete".
