Login and navigation

How to log in

You should have received a welcome email from Brightly with your credentials to log into Capital Predictor for Asset Essentials. There are two ways to access Capital Predictor. You will either use the product's direct URL or you can use the Apps button from within Asset Essentials.

Capital Predictor URL

  1. Enter the URL: into your web browser.
  2. Click Login in the middle of the page.
  3. Enter your email address in the first field.
  4. Enter your password in the second field.
  5. Click Log In.

Asset Essentials Apps button

  1. Log in to Asset Essentials.
  2. Click the Apps button ( ) in the top right corner of your account, then select Capital Predictor.
  3. Click Login in the middle of the page.
  4. Enter your email address in the first field.
  5. Enter your password in the second field.
  6. Click Log In.


How to reset your password

  1. Click Don't remember your password? on the Capital Predictor login screen.
  2. Enter your email address, then click Send Email.
  3. You will receive an email with instructions for completing the password reset process.


How to update your account

If you need to make any changes to your account, such as update your email address or transfer the ownership of your account to another person at your facility, you will need to reach out to our Client Services team.

How to use the navigation menu


Your portfolio will represent your facilities account. This will list your workspace, your asset category, and the last time the account was updated. You will also notice in the navigation menu there are links to "All Portfolios" and "Create Portfolio". You will not need to worry about these two links since you will only have access to the one Portfolio for your account and you will not be able to create new Portfolios at this time.


Your workspace is where you will access the landing page for your three funding scenarios which will then guide you to five standard reports that will help you compare the outcomes of each scenario.


The simulations listed here are a shortcut to your three funding scenarios. Click one of the three funding scenarios to view the five standard reports.


Use the Report Issue or Problem link to access information about Brightly Client Services Support hours, email, and phone number in case you need assistance. The remaining links under this section will not be applicable for your account at this time.

Live Chat!

Use the Live Chat! button to generate a Brightly Client Services Support email using your preferred email account.

Profile and settings

Use the Manage Profile link to edit your First Name, Last Name, Company Name, Job Title, Department and Region. Use the Log Out link to log out of Capital Predictor.
